Elizabeth Boyette
Executive Director
Elizabeth Boyette, founder and Executive Director of the Cody Boyette Foundation, brings the groundwork of faith to the team with a BA in Religion and Christian Counseling from Liberty University (VA). She has always served and supported others in spiritual growth. Elizabeth's professional experience was in higher education before Cody's diagnosis. Liz now works full-time as a health coach with Plexus, and remains dedicated to ministry at her church and in her community. She also is passionate about speaking at events, on the topic of "Life After Loss."
"I’ve had the greatest honor of being Cody’s wife. Cody has taught me some of the most valuable lessons about what it means to truly LIVE. I started the Cody Boyette Foundation to share Cody's story of strength, hope, and perseverance, and use these qualities to serve families as they battle cancer. We exist to help these families cultivate hope and joy, as they walk through a journey I know all too well."

In 2017, Nicole was diagnosed with Stage II Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma and underwent ABVD chemotherapy treatment. With Nicole's family states away, she was comforted by the support of her colleagues - who definitely feel like family. Liz even took Nicole to get her hair cut when her hair started falling out. "The mission of this organization hits close to my heart, as I lost my father to Lymphoma when I was young. I look at this opportunity to work with others to help cancer patients and their families to make memories together, as a true honor. "I admitted Cody and Liz the first day of his transplant. I remember walking into room #18 for the first time and seeing Cody. I knew quickly that they were special people, and we connected over shower shields, Eli and our faith. Cody never complained and remained positive in the worst of situations. He was a true example of Christ, and a man who deserves to be remembered and honored. I'm so honored to serve as part of his foundation."
